Enterprise Application Market to Grow

AMR Research analysts predict that the market for Enterprise Commerce Management (ECM) applications and services will climb from $108 billion in 2001 to $264 billion in 2005, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of about 25 percent. As Graph 1 shows, AMR Research forecasts explosive growth for some ECM applications but expects enterprise resource planning (ERP) to "limp along" at a compound annual growth rate of 14 percent.
