It's hard to believe, but it's true. Norway's national tax office inadvertently sent the tax returns of all of its 4.6 million citizens - including tax ID numbers - to media outlets.
According to "one report that I read, the tax return information is open the public, but tax ID numbers are secret.
Supposedly the data files can only be opened by someone who knows the password key. I guess we'll find out soon enough whether that's true or not.
