Tablet PCs and other "legacy-free" mobile computers lack a conventional printer port. Motion Computing provides one on its Motion M1200's FlexDock, but I don't see the sense of carrying that with me on a trip--it's a bit heavy. I found a solution at Office Depot: a $39 Belkin Parallel USB Printer Adapter. It's a 6' cable that has a USB connector on one end and a Centronics-style parallel printer connector on the other end. Windows XP and Windows 2000 recognize the adapter automatically, and an included CD-ROM contains drivers for legacy versions of Windows.
